TOWNSHIP OF PUSLINCH - On Mar. 19, 2017 at approximately 8 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) started receiving reports of vehicles that had been entered overnight in the Township of Puslinch.

Calls were focussed to the west of Aberfoyle in the vicinity of Wellington roads 32 and 35.

Property stolen from the vehicles included wallets, purses and credit cards. Further investigation revealed the stolen property was used to make purchases in the City of Guelph.

OPP are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a person caught on surveillance cameras while using one of the stolen credit cards. (See attached photo).

The OPP would like to use this opportunity remind everyone about the LOCK IT OR LOSE IT campaign. It is a crime prevention program that reminds the public to lock their vehicles and to remove the valuables and keys from within.

This helps reduce the motivation and likelihood of property crimes. If you do suspect that your vehicle has been entered please report it.

Any person with information regarding this or other criminal activity should contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a tip on-line at www.csgw.tips. You may be eligible for a reward from Crime Stoppers of up to $2,000.
