Orillia man accused of shoplifting in Guelph

On June 22, 2018 at approximately 3:33 p.m., Guelph Police were called to a business in the north end in regard to a (suspected) male shoplifter. The male was observed by loss prevention (allegedly) taking several items and leaving the store where he was subsequently arrested.

Guelph Police attended and as a result, Shawn Harrington, a 32-year-old Orillia male, was charged with theft under $5,000 and breaching his Probation Order. Harrington appeared in court on June 23, 2018.
