On Aug. 13, 2019 at approximately 11:30 a.m. while on routine patrol, officers observed a suspicious vehicle in the area of Fife Road. Investigation revealed that this vehicle was stolen; reported to Goderich OPP. Furthermore, the plates on the vehicle, belonging to a different car, were reported stolen.
As a result of this investigation, a 26-year-old Palmerston man was arrested and charged with two counts of possessing stolen property.
He was held for a bail hearing.
