Pedestrian struck in Chancellors Way collision

On Jan. 9, 2018 at approximately 12:17 a.m., Guelph police were called to the area of Chancellors Way and Edinburgh Road, where there was a report of a collision. A Chevy driven by a 28-year-old male struck a pedestrian near the intersection. The 21-year-old pedestrian appeared to have sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries. The pedestrian was transported to the Guelph General Hospital by ambulance.

This incident is an active investigation and charges are pending. Anyone who may have information about this incident is asked to contact Cst M.
