A pedestrian was taken to hospital with minor injuries after she was hit by a motor vehicle Wednesday, report Guelph police.
The 41-year-old was crossing Willow Road at Dawson Road about 1:40 p.m. when she was struck by a left-turning motor vehicle. She was transported to Guelph General Hospital for treatment of injuries described as minor.
The driver, a 50-year-old Guelph female, was charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian under the Highway Traffic Act.
