Pedestrians struck at Gordon and College intersection

On Jan. 11, 2017 at approximately 9:30 p.m., emergency services were called to the intersection of Gordon St. and College Ave., where there was a report of multiple pedestrians being struck by a vehicle.

Investigation revealed that a Toyota, driven by a 68-year-old male from Kitchener, was involved.

Two pedestrians had been struck in the intersection. Both pedestrians were 20-year-old University of Guelph students.

They were both treated for minor injuries and released at the scene. The driver of the Toyota was charged with careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
