Pickup crashes through fence. Numerous charges follow

On June 28, 2018 at approximately 1:52 a.m., Guelph Police attempted to stop a pickup truck on Speedvale Avenue West. The vehicle fled at a high rate of speed and Police did not pursue the vehicle for public safety.

A short time later, the vehicle crashed through a fence at a business on Woodlawn Road West. Police attended to the area and located the responsible driver.  As a result, a 27-year-old Guelph female was arrested and charged with flight from police, dangerous driving, fail to comply with an officer in charger undertaking, mischief under $5,000, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and several Highway Traffic Offences.

The female is scheduled to appear in court on June 28, 2018.
