Guelph police are investigating after a $40,000 piece of equipment was stolen from a Woodlawn Road West business.

A male contacted police Tuesday to advise a skid steer was being rented from another business. The caller believed the machine had been returned to the rental company a couple of weeks ago, and only learned it had been stolen when he received a bill for the ongoing rental.

Anyone with information about the stolen equipment is asked to call Constable Emily Dietrich at 519-824-1212, ext. 7265, email her at [email protected], leave an anonymous message for Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or leave an anonymous tip online at www.csgw.tips.
