Guelph police are investigating after more than $31,000 worth of ABS pipe was stolen during a break and enter on the weekend.
Police report that officers were called Monday morning to a business near Dawson Road and Shelldale Crescent. Video surveillance showed a transport truck and U-Haul van attending the business approximately 6:20 a.m. Sunday.
A padlock was cut off to gain entry to the yard. The suspects then used a forklift which had been on the transport trailer to load four skids of pipes onto the trailer and also caused damage to other pipes which were left behind.
The forklift driver is described as wearing a blue jacket with the hood up, black Adidas pants, black shoes, white gloves and a mask. The second male remained in the U-Haul van and no description is available.
