Police continue search for robbery suspects

Two robberies on same day remain under investigation

At 5:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019, a robbery occurred at a retail business located in the south end of Guelph. There were four suspects involved, all wearing disguises and were last seen leaving the area in a vehicle.

At 11 p.m. on the same day, a second robbery occurred at another business, located near the intersection of College Avenue West and Edinburgh Road South in Guelph. Two suspects entered the business and approached the clerk advising they had a firearm and demanded cash.

One suspect is described as approximately six feet tall, medium build, with a black covering over the bottom of portion of their face. They had on black pants with white vertical lines on the sides, and a black winter coat. The hood was up on the coat, revealing a beige logo on the back and there was also a red logo on the sleeve.

The second suspect was similar in height and build to the first, wore black-rimmed glasses and a covering over the bottom portion of their face. They were wearing black “Champion” jogging pants, and a blue/grey “North Face” winter jacket with the hood up.
