Police investigate hit and run on Paisley Road

On Aug. 19, 2018 at approximately 9:15 p.m., a Toyota Sienna was westbound on Paisley Road approaching Ryde Road in the curb lane. A newer model navy blue pickup truck that was in the centre lane suddenly turned right, appearing to intend on turning onto Ryde Road. The right side of the truck stuck the left side of the Toyota. The truck stopped momentarily and fled, continuing westbound. There are no further descriptions available and no injuries. Total damage is estimated at $8,000.

Investigation revealed that the suspect vehicle had pulled out of a gas station at the corner of Imperial/Paisley moments before the collision. This truck may be local to the area.
