Police investigating after woman reports man picked up her two small children

Police are looking for a man with a pot belly, and a skinny, scruffy-looking guy driving a dirty old beige or cream vehicle

On August 14 at approximately 9:20 p.m a woman and her two small children were walking through the parking lot of the Wellington Plaza at 29 Gordon Street in Guelph

At that time they were approached by two men in a vehicle, one of whom spoke to the woman and her children and then picked up the 2 children. The woman told the man to put her children down which he did and the two men left the area in their vehicle.

They are described as follows:

  1. Male, white, 5’8”-6’ tall, potbellied, 35-40 years of age, short dark hair,  wearing a grey t-shirt, dirty jeans and dirty white running shoes
  2. Male, white, 5’8”-6’ tall, skinny, 40-45years of age, red faced, scruffy appearance, short dark hair, wearing a black t-shirt

The men left the area in a vehicle which is described as a 4 door either SUV or a pickup truck with a cap. It was beige or cream colored and is described as older and dirty.
