Police investigating 'suspicious incident'

Police say the incident occurred between 4:40 and 4:50 p.m. where a woman was seen running through a parking lot from an adult man and a teenage male. She was caught by the adult man and escorted to a minivan that eventually drove away

The Guelph Police Service is requesting public assistance in regards to a suspicious incident that occurred earlier this evening.

Some time between 4:40 p.m. and 4:50 p.m. on March 5, 2021, an altercation took place in the parking lot outside of a business located near the intersection of Clair Road West and Gordon Street in the City of Guelph.

An adult female was observed running through the parking lot from an adult male and a teenaged male. The female was eventually caught by the adult male and escorted under his control to a dark coloured minivan. The vehicle drove away a few minutes later.

The female, shown in the attached picture, is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • 18-20 years old
  • 5’2”
  • Thin build
  • Lime green shoulder length hair
  • Very thin eyebrows or no eyebrows at all

The adult male is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • 40 years old
  • 5’7”
  • Wearing dark coloured clothing

There is no description for the teenaged male.
