Guelph police are appealing to witnesses and potential victims after two vehicles were apparently shot with pellet guns Thursday evening.
Approximately 7:40 p.m. police were called to the area of Downey Road and Teal Drive. A male advised he was driving into Guelph when he heard a loud bang on the passenger side of his vehicle. Police observed a small dent consistent with a pellet from an air gun.
While officers were on scene they were approached by a nearby resident advising her vehicle was also struck while she was driving. Her vehicle had similar damage. The total damage is estimated at $500. The area was checked with negative results.
Police believe there may be more victims. Anyone who sustained damage or has information is asked to call Constable Firas El-Ayoubi at 519-824-1212, ext. 7129, or email him at [email protected].
