Guelph Police request public assistance for hit and run

The Guelph Police is appealing to anyone that may have witnessed a hit and run accident in the parking lot of 649 Scottsdale Drive at approximately 1:05 p.m. on Wednesday November 16, 2016.

Investigation revealed that a 2016 Ford F150 pick-up truck struck the front end of a silver SUV that was parked in the lot.  The pick-up truck sustained damage to the front passenger side, and fled the scene immediately southbound on Scottsdale Drive.

The silver SUV sustained serious damage to the front end.

Witnesses on scene were able to record the license plate number of the pick-up and police learned that the vehicle had been reported stolen several days prior in another jurisdiction. At the time of the accident the pick-up truck was displaying Ontario license plate AN43020.
