Police looking for info on man with white Mickey Mouse umbrella

On Nov. 2, 2016, at approximately 7:10 p.m., the 14-year-old female was walking in the parking lot of the plaza located on the corner of Willow and Dawson Roads in Guelph.

She was approached by a male who began to follow her through the parking lot. The male was asking the female where she was going and if he could go with her.

The female said ‘no’ and the male grabbed her wrist. The female was able to break free with no injuries. She then ran to a friend’s residence and called police.

Male is described as follows: male in his 20’s, black with light skin, 5'7", skinny build, wearing a black sweater, blue jeans, black baseball hat and carrying a white umbrella with a large picture of Mickey Mouse on it.

Police were called to the area but were unable to locate the male.
