Police looking for witnesses into collision involving elderly pedestrian

On July 29, 2017 at 5:50 p.m., Guelph Police were called to the scene of a collision, where a pedestrian had been struck in the intersection of Speedvale Ave. W. and Kathleen St.

A 77-year-old Guelph male was struck by a pickup truck and sustained serious injuries. The male was transported to Hamilton General Hospital. There are no updates on his condition at this time.

This incident is still under investigation and no charges have been laid at this point.
