Police look to identify man who approached a youth

On October 6, 2016 the Guelph Police went to the west end of Guelph to investigate the report of a man approaching a young boy.

It is alleged that at approximately 3 p.m., the boy was walking home from school from Stephanie Drive to Castlebury Drive when a man in a motor vehicle drove up to him and started asking him questions.

The boy continued to walk but did not reply. The vehicle followed him until he reached his home and went inside.

The man is described as being 40-50 years, with white curly hair and white stubble facial hair and green eyes. He spoke with what the boy felt was an East Indian accent.

The motor vehicle is described as a four-door dark grey Subaru. It had a scratch across the passenger side doors and a single stick person decal in the rear window.
