Police make arrest after multiple vehicle thefts

On November 23, 2016 the High Enforcement Action Team (HEAT) targeted recent stolen vehicle reports. 

As a result of their investigation, a male was identified as being responsible for multiple vehicle thefts in Guelph and was arrested on Willow Road shortly before 2 p.m. 

The subsequent search discovered a knife and two car keys. One of those keys belonged to a stolen Toyota Camry parked at 39 Willow Road.

The 26-year-old Guelph man has been charged with four counts of possession of stolen property over $5,000, possession of stolen property under $5,000, three counts of theft under $5,000, four counts of breach of probation and carry a concealed weapon.

He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on Nov. 24, 2016.
