A search warrant netted Guelph police stolen vehicle and a loaded firearm on Tuesday.
Earlier this month, the Guelph Police Service Break Enter Auto Theft (BEAT) unit began an investigation into stolen property and the unauthorized possession of a firearm, police report.
As a result, on Tuesday BEAT officers executed a search warrant at a commercial facility south of the city. During the search, police recovered a stolen Audi SUV, a stolen enclosed trailer, a loaded semi-automatic rifle as well as stolen bicycles and tools.
The investigation is ongoing.
