Police reminder of the importance of 'Lock It or Lose It'

This everyday crime is easily avoided by locking your cars, keeping valuables out of sight or removed from your vehicle and parked in a well-lit and visible area where possible

There were thefts from 10 vehicles reported overnight across the city on Sept. 11. There was cash, banking cards, phones and other property taken from unlocked vehicles on Cityview Drive, Lawrence Avenue, Goldenview Drive, St. Andrew Street, Keating Street, Law Drive, Fleming Road, Division Street and King Street.

This everyday crime is easily avoided by locking your cars, keeping valuables out of sight or removed from your vehicle and parked in a well-lit and visible area where possible. If you do fall victim to this crime, please report using the Guelph Police CopLogic online reporting system.
