Over the weekend, the Guelph Police Service conducted a R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) program. 725 vehicles were checked by officers with one roadside screening test being administered.
R.I.D.E. officers encountered several individuals who had either a designated driver, or a plan for a safe ride prior to going out for the afternoon/evening.
Guelph Police officers are proud to say that there were no alcohol-related driving suspensions or arrests during R.I.D.E.
