Police respond to collision involving an OPP cruiser

ONTARIO PROVINCIAL POLICE

TOWNSHIP OF ERIN - Members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Wellington County Road 22 and Concession 10 on July 17, 2017 involving an OPP cruiser.

Investigation revealed that at 6:10 p.m., the OPP cruiser was traveling northbound on Concession 10 of Erin Township and failed to stop at the intersection of County Road 22 striking an eastbound vehicle.

Neither driver was injured.

The OPP has issued a Provincial Offence Notice to Provincial Constable Sukhvinder Toor for disobeying a stop sign - failing to stop contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
The member has served with the OPP for 11 years and is presently serving with the Wellington County OPP Detachment.
