On Feb. 17, 2019 at approximately 11 a.m., Guelph police were called to the area of Speedvale Avenue East and Stevenson Street North where there were reports of a male waving a knife. The male was no longer at the intersection upon police arrival, but police continued to investigate.
As a result of the investigation, the responsible male, a 35-year-old Guelph male, was arrested and charged with weapons dangerous, breaching an Undertaking and breaching his Probation Order. He was held for a bail hearing.
