Officers with the Guelph Police Service stopped two men at 4:18 a.m. after a garbage bin was stolen from outside a business located near the intersection of Elizabeth Street and Victoria Road South on Oct. 22.
The men were arrested and a search revealed:
- Two syringes containing a total of 12 millilitres of pink liquid fentanyl ($35 value)
- Sawzall
- Hacksaw
- Large metal flashlight
- Hatchet
A 45-year-old Guelph male has been charged with:
- Theft Under $5,000
- Possession Of break-in tools
- Possession of a controlled substance
He will appear in court on Jan. 19.
A 50-year-old Guelph male has been charged with:
- Theft under $5,000
He will appear in court on Jan. 21.
