On July 29, 2018 at approximately 2:50 p.m., Guelph Police observed a male in the Guelph General Hospital causing a disturbance. The male was asked to leave several times by hospital security but refused to do so. The male was then physically escorted by a police officer off of the premise. The male then walked across the street and once on the sidewalk, exposed himself and yelled profanities at the officer as well as patients and attendees of the hospital.
As a result, a 51-year-old Guelph male was arrested and charged with fail to leave premise when directed, indecent act in a public place and being intoxicated in a public place.
