Traffic stop - arrest

On November 22, 2016 at 9:32 a.m., members of the Guelph Police High Enforcement Action Team (HEAT) were on patrol on Victoria Road and observed a female known to them to be a suspended driver, driving a motor vehicle.

A traffic stop was conducted and she was arrested.

A subsequent search discovered small amounts of marijuana, hashish, crystal meth, 1 morphine pill, 3 unknown pills and an identity card in another person’s name.

Pauline Kelly, 50 years of Guelph, has been charged with breach of probation, breach of recognizance, possession of identity document and five counts of possession of a controlled substance.

She was also charged under the Highway Traffic Act with driving while under suspension.

She will appear in court on November 23, 2016.
