Police seek assistance identifiying suspect following fraud incident

TOWN OF ERIN - On May 2, 2018 members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police received a report of fraud that occurred on March 29, 2018 at the Quik Pik Convenience, Hillsburgh. An unknown male allegedly used a stolen credit card and made purchases over $2,000.

OPP is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect.

Any person with information regarding this person should contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a tip online at www.csgw.tips. You may be eligible for a reward from Crime Stoppers of up to $2,000.

OPP would like to remind everyone to that we all lose when someone steals. Whether it's through increased service charges or prices, we all pay.
