Police seek assistance identifying driver of suspicious vehicle

The driver got out of the vehicle and approached a young female in an attempt to get her toward his vehicle

On Friday, March 16, 2018 at approximately 6:15 p.m., Guelph Police responded to a call for a suspicious vehicle in the area of Watson Parkway North and Grange Road. The driver was reported to have pulled over and waited for a young female who was walking on the street. The driver got out of the vehicle and approached the young female in an attempt to get her toward his vehicle. The female then ran away and the driver sped off.

The driver is described as a white male in his late 20s or early 30s, dirty blond hair, facial hair on his chin, wearing a red sweater and jeans. The vehicle is described as a red two-door pickup truck.
