Police seek assistance identifying theft suspects

After the two left the store, staff found that a TV wall hanging kit was stolen

On Sunday Dec. 31, 2017 Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a shoplifting theft at Home Hardware on St. David Street North, Fergus.

At approximately 5:30 p.m. on Thursday Dec.28, 2017, staff had observed a male and female acting suspiciously in the store. After the two left the store, staff found that a TV wall hanging kit was stolen. Review of video surveillance identified the two as suspects.

OPP are asking the public's assistance in identifying the male and female. The mount is a Bratech LCD-503A full-motion wall mount worth $69.99, used for 23''-42'' flat panel TVs.
