5:15 p.m.: Wellington County OPP report that the missing man has been located safe in Waterloo Region. It is believed he hitch-hiked there.

TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON - On Tuesday June 16, 2017 Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a missing person report from a residence on Queen Street East, Fergus.

Officers are actively seeking to locate 77-year-old Roger Daunheimer who suffers from dementia and was last seen today at 1:30 p.m. near Confederation Park, Fergus.

Description:

  • 169cm (5'6" tall), weighing 67kg (150 lbs) with an average build
  • Short white hair
  • Uses a cane
  • Peach coloured shirt
  • Suffers from dementia

The Wellington County OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122.
