Police seek assistance locating missing Caledon man (update: located)

3:30 p.m. update:

TOWN OF ERIN, ON - Today, at approximately 8:15 a.m. the Wellington County OPP received information from a member of the public of a possible sighting of the missing man from Caledon, ON.

Uniform officers, along with the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), the Major Crime Unit and OPP Canine Unit searched the area and located the man at an address on Ballinafad Road just outside of Erin. The man was taken to hospital with minor exposure injuries.

Wellington County OPP would like to thank the public and media outlets for their assistance in locating him.

TOWN OF ERIN - On Dec. 10, 2018 at approximately 3:45 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a missing person complaint at a residence located on Trafalgar Road near 17 Side Road, north of Wellington Road 124. It is reported that 22-year-old Taylor Dutton of Caledon has been missing since approximately 1 a.m. on Dec. 10, 2018.

He is described as 178 cm (5'10") tall and medium build with short brown hair and unkempt beard. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black coat, grey track pants and Timberland boots. He does not have access to transportation.

OPP are concerned for his wellbeing and are asking for the public's assistance in locating him.
