Police seek man accused of intentionally coughing in face of city employee at splash pad

At approximately 2:00 p.m. on June 28, 2020, an unidentified male approached a City of Guelph Employee who was conducting Covid-19 screening duties of patrons at the City Hall Splash Pad. The lone male by-passed the line of patrons and coughed deliberately in the face of the Employee.

The suspect is described as 6 feet tall, tanned/sunburned complexion, short blond hair in a brush cut style, orange and white short sleeved polo style shirt and tan or grey shorts.

The investigation is ongoing.
