On Sunday, May 07, 2017 at approximately 9:45am Guelph Police were able to contact Mr. Thibault and confirm that he is in good health. Mr. Thibault is in a safe place outside of the city. Guelph Police would like to thank everyone that “liked” and/or shared the Facebook posts and retweeted any posts about this incident on Twitter. There is no doubt, if it wasn’t for your efforts, this incident would not have been resolved as quick as it was.

Jules Thibault is a 74-year-old Guelph man who was last seen just before 5 p.m. on May 4, 2017 at his Gordon Street retirement home. He owns a blue Volkswagon Passat with Ontario Licence Plate BFBE 546.

Mr. Thibault is described a white male 5’8” tall, 160 lbs. with short grey hair and facial stubble who does not have any upper or lower teeth. It is unknown what clothing he is wearing.

Due to existing medical conditions, there are concerns about his well-being.
