Police seek suspects in early morning gas station, car wash break-ins in Erin

TOWN OF ERIN - On Oct. 17, 2019 at approximately 3:30 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to an alarm call at a gas station on Main Street and 20 minutes later responded to a second alarm call at a car wash located on Erin Park Drive in the Town of Erin.

Investigation revealed that at approximately 3:26 a.m. the suspects smashed the glass door of the gas station and attempted to gain entry into the cigarette cabinet, however, were unsuccessful. 

About 20 minutes later, officers responded to an alarm call at the carwash which is located a short distance away. Police believe the same suspects broke into the business and stole a set of keys and a quantity of currency.

There were at least three suspects involved that had their faces covered and were wearing gloves.

The suspect vehicle is described as a newer model red Sienna with tape on the front windshield.
