Update: Nov. 11, 2021, Guelph police report the missing man was found safe.
The Guelph Police Service is searching for a male after he cut off ties with a local service agency that had been assisting him.
[The male] was last seen by a support worker on Sept. 22. He was last heard from on Oct. 9 when he sent a text cancelling an upcoming appointment with his worker. He has not been heard from since.
[The male] is currently of no fixed address. He has family in Guelph but they have not heard from him in some time. He is known to live rough in secluded wooded areas.
There is a concern for his well-being. If anyone has information about [the male's] whereabouts they are asked to call Detective Constable Brendan Campbell at 519-824-1212, ext. 7177, or email [email protected].
