Male located

TOWN OF ERIN, ONT. - Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) advises that Jakeme White was located this morning at approximately 8:23 a.m. He was transported to a local hospital by Emergency Medical Services (EMS) as a precaution. 

The OPP would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance in this matter.

TOWN OF ERIN, ONT. - Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 18-year-old male that was last seen yesterday at 5:30 p.m at a residence located on First Line just north of Wellington Road 22, Town of Erin.

Jahkeme White is described as:

  • Black male
  • 5’8
  • 165 lbs
  • Shaved head
  • 18 years but functions cognitively at the level of a 5-year-old

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, black shoes, green t-shirt and a weighted vest. He will not approach or speak to anyone.

OPP uniform members along with the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Canine Unit are involved in the search.  An Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) is also being used in the search and a Command Post has also been set up in the area.

Police are concerned for Mr. White’s wellbeing and ask if you observe him to please call the OPP Communication Centre at 1-888-310-1122 or 911.
