Two males face robbery charges and more

At approximately 4:20 a.m. on May 17, 2017,  two males pushed their way into a Waverly Dr. apartment with their faces covered and armed with a knife.

Once inside, the two occupants of the apartment were forced to stay in one place while property was taken from inside. The two suspects fled on foot and police were called to investigate.

(It is believed) this was a targeted incident by the two suspects and police were able to learn their identities. At approximately 3:13 a.m. today, the two suspects surrendered themselves to police without incident when they learned that they were wanted.  

The 18-year-old and 20-year-old Guelph males are charged with robbery, weapons dangerous to the public peace, wear a disguise and assault with a weapon. Both were held in custody and will appear in bail court today.
