Robbery reported at Aberfoyle gas station

Clerk threatened, but no weapon seen, say police

TOWN OF PUSLINCH - On Feb. 19, 2020 at approximately 5:40 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a robbery in progress at a business on Brock Road South just north of Highway 401 in Aberfoyle.

It was reported that a lone suspect entered the gas station and demanded cash from the store employee.

The clerk was threatened however, no weapon was observed.

The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of currency and was last seen entering a black sedan with dark tinted windows and black spoked rims.

The suspect is described as male, tall, Caucasian, medium build and wearing a black hoodie with an orange hood and grey sweatshirt under it, black pants and white running shoes.
