On July 1, 2015 at 2:20 a.m., the Guelph Police conducted a traffic stop with a motor vehicle on Edinburgh Road North. Police spoke with the male driver and a demand was made for a roadside breath sample. He failed this test and was arrested.

Brian Rushinko, 46 years of Guelph has been charged with drive over 80 mg. He will appear in court on July 15, 2016.

On July 1, 2015 at 2:08 a.m., the Guelph Police conducted a traffic stop with a motor vehicle on Waterloo Avenue. Police spoke with the male driver and a demand was made for a roadside breath sample. He failed this test and was arrested.
[Charge withdrawn] of Mississauga has been charged with drive over 80 mg. He will appear in court on July 19, 2016.

Break and enter

On July 1, 2016, the Guelph Police went to a Brentwood Drive residence to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) entered sometime in the afternoon or evening hours. Jewelry, cash and computers were taken from the residence.
