Shooting victim suffers serious, but non-life threatening injuries

On the evening of Nov. 24, 2019, two males entered a residence located near the intersection of Speedvale Avenue East and Stevenson Street North in the City of Guelph. A verbal altercation then ensued with an adult male victim inside the residence and resulted in the victim being shot in the upper left leg. The two males then left the residence.

The victim was transported to the Guelph General Hospital for serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The Guelph Police Service believes this was a targeted attack and there is not any concern for public safety.
