Motor vehicle strikes home

On September 27, 2016 at 12:27 a.m., the Guelph Police went to Edinburgh Road at Merion Street for the report that a motor vehicle struck a house.

A silver Buick Century crashed into the home on Edinburgh Road causing substantial damage to the front porch.

One 20-year-old female occupant remained at the scene, needing medical attention.

She was taken to Guelph General Hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.

It is believed that there were more occupants in this vehicle but they fled the scene. It is also believed that there may have been another vehicle involved.

It was described as a silver sedan with as many as four males inside. They were last seen heading down Merion Street towards Bagot Street.

This collision investigation is ongoing.
