Sleeping man found at U of G faces drug charges

On March 5, 2018 at approximately 5 a.m., University of Guelph Campus Police were called to a building on campus, where there was a report of a male sleeping. The male was spoken to and it was determined the male was not a student at the University.

As a result of this investigation, the 23-year-old Guelph male was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and a related Trespass to Property Act charge.

He was held for a bail hearing.
