Smashed window leads to arrest

Over the dinner hour on February 14, staff of a Silvercreek Parkway restaurant attempted to speak to a man who had come in, sat at a corner table, began smoking and made no effort to order any food.

The man then began yelling at staff and when he got up to leave, he kicked out one the restaurant’s windows.

Police were unable to locate the man when they arrived, but were able to identify him from previous dealings with him over the course of the day.

Just after 2 a.m. this morning, officers located this 21-year[-old] male on Carden Street and he was arrested and charged with mischief and two counts of breaching his probation. He is scheduled to appear in bail court today.
