Someone needed a Corolla catalytic converter bad enough to steal one, apparently

TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH-ERAMOSA - On Oct. 15, 2020, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a stolen catalytic converter off of a car that was parked on Jones Baseline near Wellington Road 124 in Guelph-Eramosa Township.

It was reported that on Oct. 14, 2020 sometime between 5 and 7 p.m., unknown suspect/s removed the catalytic converter from a red 2005 Toyota Corolla that was parked at the side of the road while the owner was fishing nearby.

Anyone who may have witnessed the theft or if you drive in the area and have a dash-cam, please contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a tip online. You may be eligible for a reward from Crime Stoppers of up to $2,000.
