Guelph police are investigating after a north end home was entered last week while the homeowner was away on business.

Police were called just before 8 p.m. Friday to a home in the area of Knightswood Boulevard and Waverley Drive. The owner reported she was out of town and got home Friday evening to discover the home had been entered and her bedroom ransacked. A jewelry box containing various jewelry and the spare key to the victim’s vehicle were stolen.

A PlayStation gaming system had been removed from a bedroom but was located inside a cloth shopping bag by the front door.
