Possessing a stolen bicycle had led to several charges for a Guelph woman.
Last Thursday, police saw a woman operating a motor-assisted bicycle downtown and recognized it to be one stolen during a recent break and enter.
The woman was stopped and arrested. During a search incident to arrest officers located identification and a credit card in other people’s names, several tools, a quantity of suspected fentanyl, a contaminated digital scale and more than $600 cash.
A 42-year-old Guelph woman is charged with possessing stolen property, possessing identity documents, possessing a stolen credit card, possessing break and enter tools and possessing a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
