At 2:24 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2020, a break and enter occurred at a commercial compound, located near the intersection of Southgate Drive and Laird Road in Guelph. Forced entry was gained by cutting a hole in the fence.

Stolen was copper with a value of approximately $100.00. Two vehicles on the property were also entered.

The three suspects involved are described as: one male wearing a light coloured jacket, dark pants and sneakers, a second male wearing a dark hoodie, a light jacket, dark pants and sneakers, and a female wearing a dark coat, dark pants and carrying a backpack. All three suspects had their hoods worn up.
