Stolen items include photos of deceased daughter

Guelph police are investigating a break and enter during which photos of the victim’s deceased daughter were stolen.

Approximately 5 a.m. Tuesday, the victim was in her home in the area of Municipal Street and Elson Drive when she heard a noise in the house. She believed it was her husband, then noticed her purse missing and observed two people running down the street.

The purse – described as mustard-coloured with a leopard print – held a digital camera with photos of the victim’s late daughter. Police checked the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
