On Dec. 12, 2018 at approximately 1:19 a.m., Guelph Police observed a stolen 2018 white GMC Sierra pickup truck with Ontario marker AW 14601 travelling south bound on Norfolk Street. The vehicle was (reported) stolen out of Fergus.
Police, who were travelling northbound on Norfolk Street activated their emergency lights. The stolen vehicle then swerved and travelled towards the cruiser, before swerving and leaving the area at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was last seen in the area of Gordon Street and University Avenue.
If you see this vehicle, please do not approach it and call 9-1-1. Anyone with information about this vehicle is advised to contact police, or anonymous information can be left by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
